Livery Services
We have a 260' x 150' all weather international arena with a full set of BSJA jumps, a 80' x 220' all weather arena , a 80' x 220' indoor competition arena and a further 60' x 110' warmup indoor arena, a horse walker , wash room, farriers box and large lorry park.
Most important of all, we have professional committed family members, headed by Chris and Andrea who run the yard with calm professionalism.
We teach basic skills, dressage or show jumping to riders on their own horses in our excellent schools and hold all levels of shows on a weekly basis. (See show dates and schedules).
We also arrange group activities such as: barbecues, lectures and outings as appropriate and according to demand. (HOYS, Badminton etc.) and there is also a large, well stocked saddlery on site.
It is our aim is to be a professional yet friendly yard where customers and staff alike can enjoy their horses to the full. To ensure this we have put together the comprehensive facilities mentioned above.
We also have over 35 acres of paddocks, which enables us to give some of them a complete rest each summer. Together with our strict policy on regular worming and poo-picking (our mechanical poo-picker tours the paddocks at least once a week) we believe this makes for cleaner grazing and healthier horses.
We provide parking space for lorries and trailers, racks for saddles and bridles, individual shelves for your bits and pieces, coffee and tea making facilities, and even have a flush toilets!. (All mod cons.)
We provide hay, haylage and straw, and also keep a stock of high quality shavings and eco bed for those customers who prefer them. These are available at competitive prices made possible by large load deliveries. Other alternative non straw bedding may be used with permission at the customer's expense. A good range of feeds is also avaliable.
A full record of every horse and owner is kept on file at the yard and we can arrange farriery, dentistry, physiotherapy, light therapy and visits by your preferred vet as required. We enjoy excellent relationships with a range of professionals who provide these services.
We also offer rehab and retirement livery so if you have a horse with a injury or recovering from being unwell and you do not have the time or place to take care of it, we provide a calm and stress free environment for your horse to maximise its rehabilitation or if you have a retired horse or pony but do not have the time to look after them then retirement livery might be the answer. As you know horses and pony's get old just like we do and they need loving care. We can also offer short term livery if you are going on holiday - so just drop us an email or give us a ring with any special requirements that you may need!
